  8. GCView is a IFF/DType/ANIM5 viewer which can be used as a
  9. normal picture viewer-editor, with a lot of cool features,
  10. but can also  be completely controlled via Gui4Cli or
  11. ARexx, even to the point  of reacting to user actions.
  12.  
  13. Various default actions can be taken while viewing the
  14. picture or animation (anims have some limitations), such
  15. as:
  16.  
  17. - Crop, Resize, Flip, Rotate, Zoom, Tile, Mirror-tile etc..
  18. - Save pictures or anims in IFF/ANIM5 format
  19. - Change resolution - while viewing - even with anims
  20. - Change palette brightness and contrast
  21. - Show anims backward or ping-pong (in load-all-frames mode)
  22.  
  23. More things can be done by programming it in ARexx or
  24. Gui4Cli, such as:
  25.  
  26. - Paste pics/anims onto other pics/anims (Remaping or not)
  27. - Add text, boxes and lines
  28. - Load many pictures, substitute palettes, Remap, etc..
  29.  
  30. Moreover you can instruct it to send ARexx commands upon
  31. the occurence of various events like Left/Right-Mouse-Click,
  32. Vanilla or Raw key press etc..
